Prepare for your journey as you leave Shimla and head towards Kalpa. You'll pass through the charming towns of Kufri and Narkanda, where the crisp mountain air is filled with the scent of apple orchards. Continue your drive through the picturesque towns of Sarahan and Rampur Bushahr, entering the stunning Kinnaur Valley. Upon reaching Sarahan, marvel at the majestic Kinner Kailash, towering over the village and believed to be the summer abode of Lord Shiva.
Begin your journey towards the scenic Roghi Cliff Point, known as the Suicide Point, located along one of the country's most challenging mountain routes. En route, stop at the Karcham-Wangtoo Bridge and then enjoy a lunch break in Sangla. Arrive in Chitkul by the afternoon, complete your check-in, and take some time to unwind. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring Chitkul and witnessing a breathtaking sunset from this last village on the Indo-Tibetan border.
