Arrive at the designated spot in Chandigarh, where a representative will assist with your transfer to the hotel. After checking in, take some time to rest before exploring the beautiful surroundings. Later, meet your road captain, who will lead the entire trip and provide a detailed briefing on the terrain and the day-wise itinerary. After the briefing, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Chandigarh.
Start your day early to avoid traffic as you leave Chandigarh and head towards the Himalayas via the Himalayan Expressway. Along the way, you'll pass through Chail, a charming hill station in the lower Himalayan range, known for its beautiful flower orchards. After a brief lunch break, continue your journey to Narkanda, often called the fruit bowl of Himachal Pradesh, where apple and cherry trees line the roads, and the tall Deodar fir trees fill the air with their sweet aroma. Conclude the day by arriving at your hotel in Narkanda.
Wake up early to witness a stunning sunrise. After enjoying a hearty breakfast, set off to experience the breathtaking views of Kinnaur Valley. Travel along the Sutlej River to Karcham, then turn right towards Chitkul, following the Baspa River. Chitkul, the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border, is home to the famous 'Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba,' where you can enjoy a delicious meal. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel or homestay in Chitkul.
After a hearty breakfast, depart for Kalpa. Drive back to Karcham, then continue deeper into the valley toward Powari. From Powari, take a left turn to reach ReoKong Peo, the main town of Kinnaur district, and continue on to Kalpa. Spend the night in the picturesque village of Kalpa, with stunning views of the Kinnaur Kailash mountains. Enjoy an overnight stay at a camp or homestay in Kalpa.
After an early breakfast, depart for Kaza, passing through the stunning Spiti Valley. Along the way, you'll travel on the Indo-Tibet Highway, crossing the Khab Bridge, where the Spiti and Sutlej rivers converge. Take a brief stop at Nako Lake for lunch before entering Spiti Valley as you cross Sumdo. Just 3 km after Sumdo, detour right through a gate to visit the 500-year-old mummy in Gue Village. Continue your journey to Kaza, where you'll spend the night at a hotel.
After an early breakfast, head out to explore the stunning beauty of Kaza. Begin by visiting the Key Gompa Monastery, nestled in a bowl-shaped valley between the mountains in the village of Langza in Spiti Valley. Langza, situated at an impressive height of around 14,500 feet, is one of the highest motorable villages in the world. Nearby, you'll find Komic Village, the highest village with a motorable road, and Hikkim, one of India's highest year-round inhabited locations. After exploring the charming villages of Langza, Hikkim, and Komik, return to your hotel in Kaza for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you'll head to the stunning crescent-shaped Chandratal Lake. Passing through Kunzum La, take a right turn before Baltal to reach the lake. The beauty of this location is breathtaking. You'll need to leave your vehicle and trek for about two kilometers to reach the lake. Located in the Spiti region of the Lahaul and Spiti district, Chandratal Lake is also known as the "Moon Lake" due to its crescent shape. Surrounded by mountains on one side and a cirque on the other, the lake shimmers under the starlit sky after sunset, adding to its enchanting allure. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the camps near Chandratal.
Today, you'll depart from Spiti Valley and drive towards Manali. Along the way, you'll cross the Rohtang Pass and arrive in Manali by evening. Once there, check in to your hotel and relax. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.
